Nixor Workforce are currently seeking experienced Mobile Plant Operators to join our growing team on major rail infrastructure projects across the Pilbara region. We are particularly interested in hearing from highly skilled Grader Operators and Excavator Operators, although applications are encouraged from operators with experience across a range of plant and equipment.

• Multi-Skilled Operators

Project Locations Projects are located across the Pilbara rail network. Fly-in Fly-out arrangements are available from Perth with accommodation and transport to site provided.

Scope of Work: 

Successful candidates will be involved in a variety of rail maintenance and construction activities, including:

• Enabling and shutdown works
• Mix of day and night shift
• Access road maintenance and final trim grading
• Excavation, box-outs and final trim works
• Land clearing, load and haul, and ballast import operations
• Water cart operations for dust suppression and material conditioning
• Roller operations and compaction activities
• Rail formation and level crossing works
• Skid steer operations
• General ground support activities as required

Essential Requirements:

• Rio Tinto inducted
• Current CAT 3 Rail Medical
• LABDAS completed (if not worked on a Rio site within the last 90 days)
• Ability to complete required online inductions
• Demonstrated operating experience within civil, rail or mining environments
• Strong commitment to safety
• Positive attitude, reliability, and team-focused approach
